Well that was certainly painful to watch. But then, hardly unexpected. Right now Cleveland is just a much better team than the Yankees — better hitting, better starting pitching, better bullpen. And remember that in late August, when the Yankees were starting to heat up for their impressive stretch run, Cleveland easily swept them in a 3-game series at Yankee stadium. So basically this was just a continuation of that series.

And the bad news is that it’s most likely going to get worse in game two, as odds-on Cy Young winner Corey Kluber is on the mound for the Indians. Argh.
