Boston 3, NYY 2

Sheez, how much longer is Girardi going to stick with Chapman as the closer???? He’s arguably the THIRD best closer on the team, with both Betances and Robertson being far better. Heck, for that matter, why not just dump the whole idea of closer, eighth-inning man, etc. and instead just do strictly match-ups based on whose coming up in the order for the other team? With all the quality relievers he’s got right now (in the past 30 days all six of the regulars have ERAs under 2.15), why not make the best use of all of them? Seems like such an obvious strategy.
