NYY 8, Cleveland 1

August 7, 2017 – 7:56 am

Where was all that offense over the last five games???? Sheez, with Severino on the mound you only need to score a couple of runs to get a win, but the Yankees unload for eight runs! Oh well, guess we shouldn’t complain. Severino is THE ace of the staff, I think that’s pretty well established these days, and he delivered just as we have come to expect him to. As for the offense, hopefully that wasn’t just a one-game fluke, but rather it was Ellsbury and Judge and the two Fraziers busting out of their slumps. Sure hope so, with six games coming up with Boston over the next two weeks.
