And more baby steps! The really good news is that Andy Pettitte really does appear to be back, perhaps not just as good as he was in 2010 but better, maybe even significantly better. His previous start could have been considered a fluke, but now he’s gone back-to-back with true quality starts, both times striking out more than one batter per inning. Even if this season does end up going down the crapper, if Pettitte continues to pitch this way then at least every fifth day will be a great game to watch and enjoy. Welcome back Andy!
