The Yankees finally get some decent pitching, so naturally the offense takes that as their cue to go MIA. Whatever questions there were about who the favorite is to win the East, well, those have certainly been answered. The Rays dominated the Yankees in pretty much every aspect of the game in sweeping this series.

The good news is that we’re headed to perennial cellar dweller Baltimore for a three game series. Except for the fact that Baltimore just swept Minnesota and is now tied with Tampa Bay for the East lead, three games ahead of the Yankees! I wonder when was  the last time that the Yankees trailed Baltimore by three……
