LA Angels 2, NYY 1

September 10, 2011 – 11:02 am

Yet another no-show from the offense, yet another uninspired game. Although I guess you have to cut them some slack with Jered Weaver pitching. But starting with Saturday’s game, I don’t see much in the way of excuses — the bad travel schedule is behind them, the weather is perfect. Time to start playing like a championship team. Last year we saw the team play mediocre ball throughout September, and it came back to bite them in the butts when they lost the AL Championship game to a very average Texas Ranger team. Now is the time to kick things in to hire gear for the rest of the season.
