The hitting is starting to pick up at last — hopefully the trend will continue. The bottom of the order is still a problem, but there’s probably not much hope of that improving until Cashman can come through with some trades. So it’s up to the top of the order to get it done. The Big G continues to do his magic — a paltry .238 BA, but yet a team-leading .448 OBP. Amazing.
