Lookin’ Good Since The Break

NYY 12, Minnesota 4.  Now that’s a good recipe for success.  Ponson comes within one out of a quality start, the bullpen comes within one hit of getting a no-no, and the starting lineup comes within one batter of having everyone get at least one hit.  It was particularly nice to see Jose Molina go 3-for-4 in what appears to be his first start as the starting catcher.  Losing Posada is going to be a tough blow, but let’s face it — Jorge really hasn’t been able to contribute much all year because of nagging injuries.  And Molina brings solid defense, and right now this team is winning on defense.  Anytime Molina can get a couple of hits as well, then great!
